With nearly 30 years of yoga practice and 13 years of teaching experience, Sasha leads yoga sessions designed to build strength and flexibility with a strong focus on alignment. Her practical approach encourages self-awareness, inspires personal growth, and creates space in the body, breath, and mind. Each session is thoughtfully themed and enhanced by her love of music, culminating in relaxation and/or meditation.
Sasha's teaching is enriched by her diverse experience of yoga styles, including Iyengar, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative and Yin. As a Triyoga Advanced Teacher (RYT 500 hour), she studied under the highly esteemed Anna Ashby and Jean Hall. She also trained in trauma-informed yoga for PTSD with the Minded Institute, and leads yoga sessions for clients of the Helen Bamber Foundation, a charity which gives survivors of trafficking and torture the strength to move on. Sasha delivered yoga sessions at the British Medical Journal annual conference from 2018-2020, and has shared yoga at various festivals around the UK.
More recently, Sasha has taken great joy in creating transformative, immersive yoga retreats, which invite clients to journey inward, challenge perceived limitations, and cultivate authentic connections with themselves and others through a multitude of unique experiences, both in the UK and abroad.
Sasha teaches small groups or private sessions in and around North London, where she lives with her husband and teenage children. Aside from family and music, her other loves are festivals, friends, food and snowboarding.
